These pages are drawn with such a great style, did you use any sort of references for them or was it all off your head? either way they all look very cool.

these are off the top of my head no references used BUT I guess I technically did have a reference as I'm in love with the art style of Adam Hughes particularly for women. If you look him up you'll notice a resemblance with the girl in this comic and the kind he does.

That's pretty cool, so have you used his work as references enough before or did you just looked at his arts a lot and it stuck? I don't really have one artist's style I want to follow (nor do I think I'm capable of it) but I'm hoping to draw enough from all sort of references so that one day I’ll be able to work better on my own. It's going to take forever and lots more effort on my part but hopefully that will be possible someday.

yeah I mean that last sentence you had is basically a shared philosophy with my art but yeah, I had a class called character and object design which is a class based upon building your style so there was tons of references, I checked out a book with AH's work on it and megaman'd his technique for lips and eyes for women in particular, practiced it a couple times and it just stuck. For now I'll be lifting this technique until I can put my own spin on it and these drawings are kind of the genesis of that since I didn't use any works of his to see if I was on model with his stuff, just went with what felt good.
